Who I Am
Thato Ntokozo Mashiyana is a Son, a Brother, a footballer and a gamer. He is a young man in his twenties from Matshiding, Mpumalanga who is currently based in Johannesburg. Thato grew up loving technology, football and music.
In his spare time, Thato reaches out to small businesses which may be in need of an online presence, in order to create websites for them and improve their corporate identity. He is a hardworking young man with a beautiful vision for the representation of African cultures through video games and his goal is to preserve Africa’s beauty in the immersive worlds of interactive media.
In 2022 Thato went on a drive around South Africa, teaching primary school children how to get started with making video games at a young age, using whatever low-end computers they have. Thato also volunteers at Ebukhosini Solutions, an African community based home in Walkerville where young people go to find healing and a sense of belonging. He plans on using his soon to be obtained Salesforce Administrator certification to supercharge all organizations he is connected with, in whatever way he can.
